Denese is married and has recently moved to Pasadena, Maryland from Washington, D.C. During her free time she enjoys reading, canoeing and kayaking on the Bodkin, running, volleyball & tennis, gardening, and traveling. She is a former track athlete and has completed two marathons, several 10 milers and close to a hundred 10K races. She has won or been a finalist in many grass and sand doubles volleyball tourneys.
